I had an eclipse deck stolen from me too...idiot left the harness and cut the inverter box on mine also.
Found out who it was and had a confrontation with him....he ended up paying me 300 bucks (cd5000 at cost) and I was happy and no need to get taken to jail that night.

I was ready to kill that ***** though when I saw him, ran up behind him and pushed him and he started apologizing saying he didn't know it was my truck (yeah right...) and he'd give me the radio back. I told him it wouldn't work without the power invertor box and to throw the radio in the trash and give me 300 bucks

he pulled 300 dollars out and we both went back to getting drunk

wish I had been that lucky. funny thing was that the first thing he told me was that he thought it was his brothers car. I asked what type of car it was and he didnt even know...

ok the amps in his car. so he just lyed to your face too.
that gives you more reason to kick the shit outa him. if you beat his *** of course you would get your amp back, we wouldnt be able to get in his car and run way.

if i was you i would kick his ***, get my amp outa his car and take what ever else is in his car worth value to me and be off on my merry way.

my friends would then probably break his windows and then it would get way out of hand ahaha

wrong. the amp was in his car. If I beat his *** I may not get the amp back because I dont have the serial # on it written down anywhere. headunit was ruined anyways. violence probably wouldnt have solved anything in this situation

the wreck happened in the day. my incident happened at night. hence the title of the thread^^^ I still win

I know the feeling of just being scared in the moment, but I knocked the guy out, best feeling ever. Wasn't stealing from my car though but I caught him trying to steal my shit out of a locker room

I did Get Jacked 2yrs ago.. had an explorer wit a new Pioneer HU, Kenwood 1000watt amp, and 4 Audiobahn 12s in a box i made and covered (Looked pretty good for 16yrold homemade)

I filed a police report, blah blah.. they said they were gonna look for m shit..

A friend of mine said he know who jacked my shit, some 17yr old Thuggish black guy who supposively sold crack, toted pistols, and all that other shit and went to school with me.. who had went o school with me since jr high..

Next day after lunch he got handled, right beside the Library.. the guy was rushed to the ER, 18stitches right in the forehead, ppl thought he had been in a car wreck lol...

truth is, My brother (15yr old at the time) seen this guy after lunch and unloaded on his ***.. punches to the face and ribs, slammed him against a door, locker, and floor and kicked him in the face about 5times.. the hallway looked like a murder scene.. i didnt see the fight, but i saw the aftermath.. mind you, at 15 my brother was 6ft 3, 225lbs.. he is 17 now and 6ft 4, 235 and benches 330..

the kid who stole my shit,got a slap on the wrist in court.. the ***-whooping was the best thing he ever got.. the guy who drove him to my house 2 steal the shit got 5yrs for theft over $500, and 3rd parole violation.. he is still locked up.. I never got the amp/HU back.. got the subs unharmed, but the box was ripped 2 pieces

good thing you caught him man. nobody wantss to find their car broken into. for the loss of the head unit are they going to at least try to retreive it? i know that kid would know the person who took at. and if he can't get it back for you then they should hold him responsible for the entire robbery. i wouldn't care if his relative is an officer. he did a crime and should pay. chances are he'd do it again with that cloud over his head.
