Yeah I know its effective, noticed a difference in bass on my old car. This guys says hes being doing electrical for 30 years. I just wanted to know pretty much how to get to the alternator positive bolt. Its like in the middle of the engine. I thought these guys would of did the big 3 before.
Well if you have 8 gauge stock wires then it can handle up to 100 amps of current. Changing the alternator positive to front battery positive wires up to 4 gauge won't help you if you are drawing under 100 amps of current. However, their stock alternators got to be outputting more than 100 amps unless its an old car that doesn't have much electrical stuff.
