These amps close to same quality?

The place I was looking at does not have the alpines so I ordered a

Hifonics ZXi6008 for 100 bucks less.

I don't care about it being compact.

Do those speakers match with the new amp i bought just as good as if it was with the Alpines?

amp is 3x the rms of ur speakers so u might wanna keep the gains a little low

i cant get the alps... the model they sold was discontinued......

If you wern't sure you gotta come here first and ask, you already bought so this thread is a fail, unless you put pics of said amps.

PDX has better crossovers and signal processing, it is worth the $100 difference so what do you want to hear that hasnt already been said.

your overpowering the premier x 3 and if you are not very carefull they are going to release magic smoke or the magic crackel and pop, so be very carefull with the gains and it will work.

Is it that much of a difference? Trust me, I'm looking for some closure since I'm pissed that I lost the alps. I had them on order and 5 days later they called me to tell me they werent getting any more in.

More than likely you will not be able to notice the difference unless you have messed with several amps and paid close attention to detail. Even then you still may or may not notice the difference and nobody here can answer your question, because none of us know how you interpret what you hear, so that's all on you.

Since you are not running an Alpine type 'R' component set, it really doesn't matter if you run Hifonics with Pioneer.You will not achieve that Alpine "sound".I own the pdx 1000.1 and the 4 x 150 pdx 4 channel amps.I prefer the 'R' components--they also handle 110 rms @ 2 or 4 ohms.At the moment,I'm all Alpine.I have the 12w6's saved in the bedroom,maybe I'll sell for around $500--theyr'e in a vented box.The pdx-1000.1 overpwers the w6's,the 'R' handles a lot more than the JL sub.I like them both.Your'e the one that has to listen to it.Ther'e are a lot of other places that sell that same amp--pdx 150x2,Why didn't you shop around,than get the Zeus??????????????Alpine50.......
