I bought two rockford fosgate power 1500.1bd and was wondering if any of you guys had any input on these type of amplifiers? I was thinking about selling them but am still undecided since i dont know much about them. If i was to sell them how much do you think i could get for them? I wanted to sell them to upgrade alt so im really not sure if i should just keep them and save up money or simply sell them. Thanks and any input of these amps is appreciated.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Oh, and those amps are about as mainstream as it gets. A simple google search will give you tons of information...
Thanks for the input. Im actually thinking about selling them locally, I bought them for like 250 both so how much do you think i could sell them for? Or should i just be content with getting the same amount of money in return?

So by too expensive do you mean money wise or power hungry amp? Because i too thought that it requires too much power to power efficiently...
Money wise, they are way over priced. Sell'em on the SMD forum. The boner is sooo f'n hard over there, I guarantee you they will sell in a matter of minutes.

LOL thanks for the advise man. I'm gioing to post them on craigslist first since i really dont wanna deal with shipping and all. By the way, i saw a posting on craigslist for a used iraggi amputator series h/o alt for $300 which has been used for around 6 months, but comes with a lifetime warranty. Is this pretty decent? Also i compared pics and the alt doesnt look any differnt from the exterior of my stock alt, are these alts supposed to just be modified internally or what because it looked exactly with same brand and all.

$350 sold to a DA noob. (Most high school kids)$200 sold to a car audio enthusiast.
The cheapest price on google is $430. $200 would be one hell of a good deal for a T1500-1bd in nice condition. Contrary to popular belief, RF still makes nice amplifiers...

Yea they're modified. I've heard some horror stories about iraggi but also heard some good stories so it's ^2u.

Sorry but is the amp you are talking about the black shinier ones? The ones i have are the blackish grey "ribbed" looking ones. They were made somewhere around 2001 i think but please correct me if im wrong, i googled the t 1500-bd you mentioned and it looks nothing like mine...
