anybody can get lucky...especially if they have a clue what they're doing, and that doesn't look like anything more than I'd expect from two 15's and 6kw...

That's right, nowhere.

Got any pics of that design? For all we know it could just be a straight up ported box. And if it's not, whose to say that a normal ported box wouldn't work just as well?

ok that first vid is 2 BTL 15's with 6k watts so lets break it down

2 15's = 353.25 sq subs = in of cone area subs are $500 from Fi each with 6k watts in a single cab truck

then here is one i designed

8 10's = 401.92 sq in of port 49sq more then the 15's but these 10's are $50 each and he only has 2k watts in a single cab truck

and he didnt have to pay the $60 "engineering/design fee/make up weird words" fee

P4S, TCAB, PWK......everyone is a master enclosure designer these days. All you need is a little vocabulary, fancy work in Sketchup and a lot of hype.
Look out for my new line of enclosure designs.....the Squeakinclosures. This will be a full design service to compliment my line of Squeakinator subwoofers and Squeakster speakers.

TCA & PWK aren't impressive, P4S was overpriced but the boxes weren't necessarily shit. Their cult following and a few idiotic videos is what started the hate. That box type can have a slight efficiency advantage over a regular ported box though.

Some of these "advanced" designs can be impressive when designed and implemented correctly. There's just a lot of mis-information surrounding them.

absolutely worth flaming, that is PATHETIC for those subs, that amount of power, in a blowthrough. i can't believe you posted that, my 2 bl 15's on 3.5kw owned that.

Not pointing fingers...

But 99% of people who have put our subs in any of those boxes have ripped the spiders and even the new integrated tinsels to shreds. He says it's our fault...

He doesn't even know where the enclosures are tuned to, so riddle me this.

If you don't know where the enclosure is tuned to..how could one possibly set up the subsonic filters and such on their amplifiers properly so the subs don't unload under tuning?

Keep it simple, stupid. Follow our guidelines on enclosures for daily..it works..fine.

I never had an issue with my PWK T-line he made me. It didnt blow me away like I thought it would. It was pretty comparable to a low tuned ported box but it had kind of a unique whistling sound. Not a bad whistle like port noise, just some weird resonance that I liked. It was fun to build though.
