I would have kept lifting through hockey season, but when i messed my back up i could barely walk... so i just gave it up so i didn't hurt myself again during hockey season (i did anyways, ****ed dislocated shoulders).. Now getting back into it is emarrasing, i can't lift shit compared to the people i was lifting w/ before, it sucks.Originally posted by ss3079 I lift...I know myself, denim, and Mark_ab lift regularly for sure.

I'm just throwing this out there because it is what i do during the summer. During the winter i play hockey, and during the summer i lift. I'm just wondering if many other people lift, and what you're doing. Oh, and i started benching @ 95, and squatting @ 135.. I'm not ashamed, you gotta start somewhere!
I weight trained before my sophomore year for a month or two for football. My coach was saying it was optional but recommend, which basically means it's required. My parents said I should go because they didn't want me to get hurt out there on the field with no bulk on me (at the time I weighed about 145 lbs). I really hated weight training. I really hated my coach.
