THE Thread

I didn't feel like running the speaker wires last night either, even though it would have been incredibly easy. I just was too lazy to figure out which were the right rear and right left wires and pull them with the power wires. I don't run rear speakers normally anyway so it's no big deal, but at shows and stuff it's nice to have a bit of music in the trunk, and when I get my new gear, rear speakers are going to be included, just for the purpose of having decent rear fill.
I run mid-bass as rear fill.. I hate treble coming from behind my head.. It's so messes with your front stage.. I can always tell who's into SQ by their choice of rear fill speakers..

No problem.. I feel for you, my brotha from a different motha.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif All I can say is you have MUCH more patience than myself.. I would be going out of my mind.. I HATE wasted time, since it's one thing you can never buy, no matter how much money you aquire.. Life is short enough as it is..
Never fool yourself into thinking that it doesn't drive me absolutely mad on a daily basis...

It's not so much having a great wealth of patience but moreso a recognition of simply being without a choice. I will not live my life without this woman in it so whatever I have to do to accomplish that end goal is what I will do.

But it's a bitch....I hate each day that I have to wait more than the one before it. Having a complete lack of options, though, makes it somewhat easier to cope with somehow.

My driver's seat is scary underneath....... a huge cluster**** of wiring for various things electronic. i've got a 10ga line coming in from the battery to power a bunch of stuff, which goes to a relay, and then out to a little distro block for power and ground I rigged up. There's a bunch of little wires on disconnects that I made, so that I can disconnect various things if they have to be removed, and not need tools. Then I have my video amp sitting under there with the signal coming in, and then going out to the headrests and driver side visor. I also previously had wiring for the Eclipse iPod adapter and Sirius tuner down there also, so it was just a big mess. It's a little nicer now that I've got those 2 pieces removed, but it's only a matter of time til they get replaced with their Alpine counterparts.

Corey2 : Whats the news?

Mega: $35 !

i think i may switch to old school xtant amps
Do it, foo.. I LOVED my old school xtant amps.. Some of the best amps I've ever run, period.. You can usually get them for good deals now too.. One 3300x would be all you need to run your whole system.. I sold mine about 2 months ago for $250 and I was sad to see it go..
