The sorriest amp I've ever seen

WOW talk about something from way back in the day!! That amp was around when the Lanzar Opti series, etc. was around and that is NOT A REAL PRECISION POWER AMP!!! How do I know?? I use to work at an av repair shop back then and we repaired a ton of these with blown outputs, etc. mostly from user error. That amp puts out about 50w rms x2 into 4 ohms clean. There is also a 4 channel version. Wow I almost fell over when I saw it in the pic. This is the first time I seen one since about 15 years ago!!!!! Just WOW!!!! Oh and btw the entire amp was mass produced in China. A local install shop in the city use to buy them and sell them by the boat load lol.

Yes it is a sorry *** amp but back then.... they were HOT!!!!!(I kid you not) LOL just like the name hahaha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I think people liked them because they were huge looking. Hell I think there was one model that was twice as long as that one hmmmmm.... I think it put out about 150w rms x 2 although it stated 800w x2 on the cover haha. Guys use to like running the 800w x2 (lol) on those old skool Pioneer IMPP 12's - man you got me reminiscing here!

Oh man I seen some other "brands" too that looked pretty but had regular IC driven circuits inside puttin out no more than 25w x2 but the cover would state 100w x2 MOSFET!!!! LOL. Try explaining to a customer back then why this big amp they just bought sounds just the same as that "high power" head unit they got. Then they try to blame the installer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

HAHAHA Tell me that u seen customers pick a amp up and sort of "weigh" it in their hands and say "Man this must be good stuff... its heavy!" LOL. Omg the memories!!

I remember those amps. They used to sell them in Lowrider magazine alongside Thump amps. I remember thinking how cheap they were for the power they did even back then. I have seen worse amps. The board itself doesn't look terrible. They just put it into a heatsink thats way too long. I bet that ***** never overheats LOL

Lol, yes I have...like I said I forget the name on that surf board amp but its said it was 2000 watts rms right on it...it had 2 20 amp fuses on it. It weight a ton man, we opened it up beacuse he had a problem and it was like this pic, but had 2 steel weights one on each side

its not listed as precision power, dink. I didn't need to work at amp repair to know that
Well people use to think it was back then when the nazi's ruled ya know. And who cares what the hell u did - hail to the king and thats you right?

People are still buying amps that are crap just because manufacturer puts some inflated power rating on it. The only difference is with the cost of Aluminum they've figured out it's cheaper to not use the huge heat sink

It's the same as the new power acoustik amps and auto tek amps. Just plain garbage like the kole audio 7000 watt amp that supposedly does 4100@1 ohm. From wat ppl tell me that's with 16v...bunch of crap now a days.
