This is another documentation I'm going to do.

On Wednesday I ran new wires for my comp amp. Sadly, this involved a drill and no grommets. I can only pray my Jensen JXP 480 has short protection. If not, I'm only out $40 anyway. =\

After this task was accomplished, I noticed one very interesting fact. Nothing attached to my EQ worked. I popped the trunk and checked the connections on my amp. They were fine. In fact, my amp's blue LED was on thinking nothing was wrong. I can only deduce I must be correctly amplifying nothing. Since I get this a lot, I will post the results of what I find after I finish hooking up my comp amp and re-wiring my equalizer. It is all in a huge jumbled mess in the front of my car right now. I am scared to turn it on.

That aside, this is really frustrating. I just got my IAs on Monday!!!!! **** it, two days and now I can't even enjoy them! On top of that, this could potentially mean I killed my EQ somehow! **** it (x5)!! With the state of mind I'm in, I'm either going to find or lose religion after I find out what went wrong.

did u try hooking everything to the HU? If its just the eq it shouldnt be that bad. 100 max right?

Haha. You won't believe this.

Everything was hookd up right. I made no mistakes whatsoever properly wiring 2 amps, 1 eq, 1 HU, and all without piggyback-ing the remotes or RCAs. The fault was in the EQ's DVD input button, which gives no indication if it's on or not. I accidentally hit it and didn't know it was on! This is a big relief that there was nothing wrong.

Just for reference, I have now played my front Sonys on HU power, and to a 4 band eq and 85w amp. They **** either way.
