**** the police

Maybe the cops where you are at are different. I've had cops pull me over for flashing my headlights at them (they were driving with no lights), and then ask me in a joking manner "why'd you flash your lights at me?". I point to his headlights, he laughs, then says "oh ok, you can go now" and then laughs to his buddy for shining the light in my face. They seemed high, seriously.
I've just seen more dishonest and abusive cops than upright ones, so that is probably why I have the viewpoint that I do.
Someone correct me if I am wrong, isn't it illegal to flash another driver? I know I have never been pulled over for it, but I think it is.

I think that was the game. They were intentionally driving around with no lights on, just to pull over citizens who were letting them know their lights were off. Him and his buddy were having a great time scaring the shit out of us. Didn't even wait to let us go before laughing and joking to each other.

Thats just stupid, I think you watched Super Troopers one too many times. I assume you are an angry teenager and the police screw with you all the time for no reason. Logic would tell you not to flash your lights at the police period, if their lights are off, they are off for a reason. You assume cops are dirty b/c of the few that are, I seriously hope you dont judge others like that.

I don't think so, there is even a provision on many GM vehicles known as "flash to pass", to alert passing cars there is sufficient distance to get back over.
