**** the police

Why ask questions first when the "blue shield" will protect you, even if you murder someone. There's a local cop here that murdered a civilian and got found guilty. Turned out, it was the cop's gay boyfriend, threatening to expose the cop's dirty deeds. The cop got found guilty and got sentenced. The state has him a high powered lawyer, and now they're getting him a retrial where he will probably walk. He only got sentenced to a mental ward anyways. But whatever, cops are afforded more rights than normal citizens, kinda like rich celebrities. They are all like OJ simpson when it comes to the crimes they can commit and get away with.

Most Police are held to a higher standard and live their lives in a fishbowl. You must be able to make a split second decision that could decide whether your children see you after your shift or not.. People that weren't there get all the time in the world to decide if it was a good decision or not. And morons like the OP criticize the hell out of it.

a co-worker of mine got shot 7 times by police when he ran through a checkpoint and "almost hit an officer". he only ran because he didn't have a license and they shot at him over 20 some times hitting him with 7 bullets...
police officers don't really think about the situation too long when adrenaline is pumping and their finger is on the trigger. if they feel their life is in danger, they don't ask questions first...
Your MF'n right. I am the same way.

I thought the whole hating cops thing was a high school fad. Why don't idiots understand that the police force is a necessity. So what if the guy was killed, dont drive cars at people, especially a police officer. Everytime i hear someone talk sh!t about cops, it just gives me an image of a total loser (usually a stoner but no offense to stoners) with nothing better to do than talk sh!t about people. I just dont get it.

its because those are the ones you notice

I work with cops, most arent that bad, but the decent ones, doing there jobs, dont get noticed, its the dickfaces that grab your attention and stick in your memory

they should be punished more severely, imo

they have been trained to use their weapons and bodies in defense, moreso than the average joe

they should be held higher in accountability than most.

you will notice a difference by when the cop works as well

daytime, usually not by force, they mostly work accidents, vandalisms, vehicle thefts, etc

nighttime, they deal with combative drunks, assaults, domestic abuse, dui's (who run often), robberies, etc

theres more violent crime at night, so those officers working then are usually more aggressive

Run from the cops, you die.

Simple equation, this will stop almost all police pursuits before they begin.

If you run, you're endangering the public's safety. You've deemed your own life to be worth so little that you'd put it in jeopardy (not to mention the lives of the innocent public) just to avoid a ticket for driving without a license or something stupid like that. The choice was the choice of the person who ran.

Simple.

i dont think they shouldnt prusue them after say 20 30 min.. and let them go.. it's only going to get worse.. some cops... SOME cops deserve to be ran over...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

the guy shouldn't have ran.

I love these threads. All the police haters jump in saying all cops are crooked blah blah blah, yet they are always the ones committing crimes and making themselves look suspicious.

Stupid faggots.
