ok so i really want a motorcycle, but im also debating on just spending all the money i have on pimping out my truck....

if i go the route of fixing up my truck im prolly gonna end up sitting it on 18's, getting the interior re-upholstered, id probably wall it with a pair of 15's with a few thousand watts...new grill, bedcover tint lights, all kinds of good stuff..would probably do some engine work as well to help with gas mileage IE intake/exhaust....

ssoooo what would you do?

and ya after i get my new job ill be able to afford insurance, im gonna pay for the bike in cash so i wont have to worry about payments on that...

I don't see either as the wise or practical choice. However, I would pick doing work to the truck you have now ahead of getting a bike.

invest in a good stock then if and when you get a lot of money, pull out and do both of those things.

Meh bike mileage is better than cars but it's not THAT much better. I think i was only getting around 25-30mpg on my 06 600 gixxer. Of course I was riding it like I stole it though.

Do you rent or own a house/condo? I'd say take care of buying your own place first before spending all that money on something that's just going to depreciate.

A lot of mid/late 90's to early 2k bikes get in the 50 mpg's. My last bike got 47/49 and this bike gets 49/50. Previous bike was a 1995 CBR F3, and my current bike is a 1997 VFR 750.

I say slightly modify/updgrade your truck with parts or stereo, forget the bike, and use the residual money and either invest it or use it for a form of sanctioned racing. WKA (World Karting Association) isn't very expensive and is a BLAST!!

How dangerous is Karting? Looks like you guys go really fast lol.

I got out of bikes, temporarily or permanently haven't decided, got in a pretty bad accident, looking for other interests.
