The OFFICIAL NFL Draft thread!!

i think he meant yards...but either Ted Ginn Jr. is not who they should have picked.
bigbangtheory, you keep contradicting yourself. First you said he's an "excellent reciever", then you said he wasn't "anywhere near the best" and "you didn't agree with the pick" now you defend him by saying he's "fast and averages 50 catches a game".

even though i know you meant yards (if you didn't you no longer have the option of posting in this thread), 50 yds a game is not enough to make a difference in the NFL.

He will be good, but not super great. He will join the likes of Shaun McDonald, Bobby Engram and T.J. Houshmenzadeh instead of Torry Holt, Deion Branch and Chad Johnson.
What are you talking about? What I ment was catches per year he averages about 50 a year in his college career. He is over 50 yards a game in his career. I did say he is an excellent reciever, but when did I state he was the best in college football, please quote me on that. I said one of the best OSU has had to offer at that position. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif I didnt say I didnt agree with the pick, said he shouldnt have went at number 9, but was a good pick up for the Dolphins. Might want to learn to comprehend stuff before you say how I am contradicting myself. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif

I know he will be good, might be like a Dante Hall, so be it. Dante Hall is one of the best punk return/kickoff guys around, but can almost say with a smile on my face that Ginn will be better at the reciever position than Hall was/is.

Then is obvious to me that you dont know the first thing about football being you just compared Shaun McDonald, Bobby Engram to an elite reciever like TJ Houshmenzadeh. I mean they are considered one of the best tandem recievers in the game in Johnson and TJ, that is just retarded as hell. Then you talk about how good Dieon Branch is, lol! Yeah he had an amazing year last year with Seattle. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Might want to go check TJ's stats. One of the better recivers last year. NOOBCAKE!

cleveland got ***** in the brady deal. they get joey harrington for a first and second round pick. also cleveland won't be very good next year, so the pick dallas gets from cleveland, will be better then 22nd, plus they got a 2nd round pick to boot.

yep dallas got the better deal by far

i really like what millen has done so far. he ignored the criticism and went with the best available player, then he got a QB imo who is better then quinn, who can be groomed into a starter, he then got more 2nd round picks to try to address defensive needs, he got rid of bad apples in dre bly and mike williams, and added depth to the running back position. i still think kevin jones can be the feature back, but with bell and duckett, RB is deep. i also wouldn't be surprised if he trades that pick he got from oakland for brian kelly

a guy i know personally went to the ravens, graduated a few years ago from my high school, he came back friday to talk to everyone, and my school is pretty small too

ben grubbs Guard form auburn

went 29th in 1st round
