i dont know the model numbers... but i had an xplod cd player(that as its name would suggest, really did xplod one day), pioneer 6x9's, and two JBL 12's with a 760 watt peak xplod amp... it was red and shaped like an x, LOL, those were the days...

That was about 2 years ago, IIRC. To this day I would have no problem using that PA amp and JVC HU, but don't expect me to touch Sony, Boss, or SPL subs in this lifetime.

My first official system I will define as having subwoofers. I had a sony xplod deck with a kenwood amp that put out 150X2@4ohms. I had 1 10" jbl gto series sub. Sounded nice. Then I upgraded and go another 10" jbl gto sub and my system was really loud! But that's because I had an old vw bug and the speakers were right in the storage area located behind the back seat. Had trouble with the subs coming a part though. JBL was good about covering the warranty but I finally just gave up on their gto sub series. Surrounds where coming unglued, tinsel leads broken.
