Got a bunch more odds and ends on another laptop. I actually had some rare stuff (old Adcom, PPI, Aura, and prototype Fusion 4K) that I sent pics to ampguts and they never posted them.... that board was crap for years before ANT bought it IMO.

Not in a million years. Zed built the OPTI line that had this style heatsink. From a side view the Korean built ones with similar look have a more squared off heatsink.

(pic related, I used to run a 4 piece of these on my subs and they sounded terriffic)

If you look real close at the board it has a layout very similar to many early zed's. The fet hold downs are also similar to early zed stuff. I am not saying it is definitely a zed but it has a few similarities with zed amps of that time period. He did say he got it in 91. The gut pic you have shown is a bit newer than that

Ninja Edit: Zooming in on that pic I can now see the fet clamps aren't the ones I was thinking they were. Not a zed. Phone browsing FTL on this one.
