Ok, so everyone knows they are great subs....when they work. But thats just the problem, it seems like a lotta people are having problems. Some people say that everyone just thinks that because people are posting that there subs blew and everyone is blowing things out of portportion...but maybe not.

So heres what I want everyone to do. Everyone who owns or has owned or a has friend that owns a 15A, say if you have had any problems with them and how many watts you were sending them. Also say if you were usin em for competition or jsut for daily driving. Lets get to the bottom of this...

Won't have to worry about problems with the 15A anymore as it has "a new aluminum based structural enhancement system that allows the cone to face abuse with a smile".

The 15A's box is superb. And I didn't cut the wood for the 10's box...kiss it...

Well i had one that the former came loose from the cone. And then 2 more that havent had any problems.

SO i guess that makes it 2 for 5

Why don't we gather up EVERYBODY who owns/owned a W7 that has had a problem with that of any sort.

That would be almost as pointless as this thread. It's a piece of man made equipment, there are going to be problems.

I stood and watched a pair of them take 2200 watts each in excess of 10 seconds in an SPL car last weekend. The new backing seems to stiffen up the cone - from what I've seen so far.

Dont quote me on this...but i dont think the ones with the new backings are out yet. I talked to edesignjeremy and he said the new batch is coming out in about 2 weeks with the new backing, but the others new ones already ahve the new glue on them. Anyway that makes 2 for 6....and thats the point of this thread, to see if its just myth or truth that these subs are blowin all the time. Im personally impartial, jsut trying to get to the bottom of things...and so far its not lookin good
