THE author Salman Rushdie believes that US authorities knew of an imminent terrorist strike when they banned him from taking internal flights in Canada and the US only a week before the attacks.

On September 3 the Federal Aviation Authority made an emergency ruling to prevent Mr Rushdie from flying unless airlines complied with strict and costly security measures. Mr Rushdie told The Times that the airlines would not upgrade their security.

The FAA told the author’s publisher that US intelligence had given warning of “something out there” but failed to give any further details.

The FAA confirmed that it stepped up security measures concerning Mr Rushdie but refused to give a reason.

I only scanned your redundant post, but I want to comment on this quick,,

When will you guys learn that it didnt have to fucking melt the steel for the building ot collapse. At even modest temperature claculations, the steel in the WTC towers would have lost well over half its integrity in that fire, add that to uneven heating and you have severely warped supports, supported by evidence at the scene. But you wont read about that on your biased conspiracy websites, you actually have to go out and do real research...

no one has yet to show "prrof" of that. All you have is independent speculation over it. I would love to know how the bombs got into the buildings unnoticed under intense video surveillence (sp?).

The fact remains that there is no way to ultimately test conclusively about the reaction of the steel to jet fuel and/or extreme temps because to do so, you wouldhave to rebuild the buildings with the exact same specifications and reconstruct the events with monitors in place. Computer models, and tests run in defferent environments have no way of being 100% precise and accurate. I have never seen a computer model or any other simulation that can predict/recreate an event with 100% accuracy, because there is always going to be an element of the equation that may differ in the real life scenerio.

Unlike the crap you have been posting, that would be common sense IMO.
