Quick question:

I can Either leave the top open and put a 3/4" sheet on the seats and force the sound waves up or I can seal the top and force the sound waves into the seats.

Which way would you try first?

I like this one.....I would force the sound up first so itll roll off the back glass. You push it into the seats and the seats will absorb the bass when the seats are up. Seats down Im not sure which loading would be louder though.

So far, with the trunk not sealed off, seats up rolling off the glass was louder than with seats down top still open with some sound rolling off the glass.

With everything open there were major cancellation issues. However I have everything out again so I will not be able to test anything anytime soon.

imo it will be loudest with the top sealed, seats down...

Yeah but in some comps; seats need to be up.

Looks nice. Intimidating seeing all them drivers. Work is on par with the last time you did this.

Just got done reading the old build thread and this one.

You're one dedicated dude (or crazy), kudos for the builds.

Kinda hoped the first one was loudest, it looked best.

You glad you cut the back wall outa your car though?

It's definately opened up lots of posibilities for laying out those E8's

I will see how this one goes first, if it's louder than the old setup I might be happy enough not to attempt another re-build.

I'm almost done with this one so we will see soon.

i was thinking the same thing. i just spent an hour going through the other build and then you've made 2 more different boxes and made a hatch back out of your stratus lol. gives me ideas, but i always thought your not supposed to cut out your rear deck as it gives stability to the rear of the car.
