I was messing around today and took a video of the box bouncing off the trunk.

It's very heavy I have lots of trouble lifting it and it is sitting here bouncing 1/2" off the ground.

I was messing around some more and put my seats up, directing the waves towards my rear window. I'm having some cancellation issues because the loudness doubled, laugh.

No it isn't loud at the moment, but I was planning on sealing off the trunk, so I will do that again, and then test seats up VS down. If the loudness changes, I will make some kind of loading wall and try a couple of things I am dreaming up at the moment and see what works best.

But I really need to seal off the trunk right now.

why not just wall it? would look alot cleaner and could of saved your self from hacking your car all up like that.

svc 4

wire each set of 4 to 1 ohm

wire two of 4 up sets up to 2 ohm, then parallel two sets of 8 to 1 ohm

any combo of that really.

I'm considering a redesign of the box, I really don't know what I want to do, trying to figure out the best way to get these babies pumping out some spl I was kinda thinking a larger clamshell (opening) aimed up at the rear window, but I just can't decide if I want to go through the trouble of sealing off the trunk and not like the box I have at the moment.

Not sure if the cancellation issues are because the trunk isn't sealed off or because the angle and design of the box. The biggest difference in SPL so far was when I put my seats up, it got much much louder. I tried opening the trunk and it was sitting open about 1/3 of the way and I didn't really notice much difference in the loudness.
