Sounds like a good "father son" project. I wanna bring that to Canada. Shoot potato's @ the fukkers who go jet skiing full boar past the island @ 4 am, when i am trying to sleep.

Almost as bad as ricers.............

well to be on topic...i thought of another idea...

like the admin is right now he has control over all forums, some of the people that really have control and know what they're doin should be able to delete posts/move threads to different places

I elect the review committee for the moderator positions. They are always here to help people, give insight on good/bad products, and are usually on everyday. They are a good group of people!

i just remembered edit/deleting...but ya moving threads would be a big ++++ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif cuz i forgot about it, anyone else have ideas so we can stay on topic?

The ability to move/edit/delete threads/posts would be nice...the biggest one is moving threads into their correct locations(never thought it would be that hard to post there in the first place...)

All of the moderation "staff" would discuss banning someone and the admin would make the ultimate decision, in the harsh cases, of course.

They would act like leaders, set examples, etc...you know the deal.

strange how many of "US" already do it, lol

Prahaps mods should also to be allowed to limit threads. Say XJ starts a thread called "how to tune a box" and Jmac is Box mod i n this instance. Jmac take this thread and all posts therein and combines it with a thread earlier listted inb the box forum, there by answering a question more efficently, and creating more server space. Not too complicated, just might take a lil concentration for some people to know what I mean.

but that will still take up almost the exact same amount of server space... it would be easier to close the thread so no one else can post and before you do tell them where they can get that info at...

I see a lot of faces here that have also gone over to ssaudio......the moderating staff there is doing ALL of this and then some and I think it is a good model to base moderators on. Each of us have our own section or sections and sometimes share that section with another mod. We have the power to edit posts, delete posts, close topics, move topics, PIN topics so they can stay on top when they are important or something that is lasting (much like our younger smaller THE thread). Or much like my project Harley Davidson F-150 truck I am working on as an install and allowing the entire site to take part in. We also have the power to combine threads and such as well as mentioned here. The thing here is that without Admin support on this subject we are arguing a dead issue and beating it some more. Admin has mentioned already to a number of us that he is looking into it and considering it for the future. We are not asking for a ban button. We are not asking for total control and access to the site. We are asking for a solid leadership role from within to be allowed. For a group of those top posters, leaders and well educated in the field to be able to help keep this place organized and more or less worry free. Nominating people and debating on how it should be done and what the responsibilities should be is not helping the matter much at all. I think it best to allow some of those that are already in contact with Admin to remain in touch with him and see what is going on from there. It is his site and he has the control over it and once he decides to go with an active Moderating team I am very sure that he and those selected members will discuss a plan of action from there and help this site and forum build to be much more solid than it is already. Anyone disagreeing with me feel free to beat the dead horse some more, but it is still going to be dead.
