Remindes me of a Quote in Dad's Yearbook, "Once a king always a king, but twice a knight is enough."

And Josh it was me who brought it up. Yes, swearing isn't a sign of maturity, but it sdoes help express anger. Not necessarily in a 100% positive way (god i am turning into askanazi) but a way none the less.

There is no way to rationalize the use of profanity. It makes one look bad, it makes the site look bad, it offends people.

It's different when you are at home with a bunch of buddies shooting the proverbial crap about anything and everything - but here, we have a LOT of people that aren't registered, who knows how young, reading things posted.

How you act is how people will view you. If you are the type that snaps at the drop of a hat and starts throwing vulgarities left and right, you have just lost the respect of likely hundreds of people reading you.

Very good points. And yes online most people are a little better with their thoughts than they are when they are with their buddies hanging out. It does offend some people, btu for the most part most people just deal with it. Granted they shouldn't have to.
