**The MLB Thread**

I think it's either the Dodgers, the Tigers, the Mets, and of course, the Royals.
If the Mets signed him, I'd just move Wright to 2b, and keep Reyes where he is. They have him at a very good price till possibly 2011, and I think he's still getting better. I think Santana will be on the market next season, and the Mets will most likely pursue him then.
Minnesota will not be to afford to keep so he will be on the market, but I got to imagine Minny is going to move him by the deadline. If Minnesota is contending (which I doubt with Cleveland and Detroit in the same division) they may hold him and make a run.

I wonder if A-rod would be willing to play 1B with the Mets? Isn't Delgado a free agent?

Didn't I just read they picked up Easley and Alou's option? I suppose they could dump Easley.

I also heard they bought out Shawn Green. They are already clamoring about Green coming to Detroit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Yeah they picked up both of them. Alou gets $7.5mil and Easley gets just under $1mil.

I had heard that Green said he will most likely retire after the season, but who knows. They need to make room for Milledge I guess.

I dont want Delgado there...move Wright to first base

Im 50/50 with trading Reyes for Santana

Alotta talk about ARod in NY...and it aint involving the Yanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Well for under 1 million Easley can sit on the bench.
Easley was great for us this past season...very good utility man and a veteran we need off the bench.

Mets are looking into Torrealba //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Didn't the Tiger's GM say there's no chance they're going to go after Arod?

Mets sat down Wright today to discuss him moving to 2nd base. Wright had said earlier in the year that he'd jump at a move to 2nd to bring in Arod. Arod wants to stay in NY, and the Mets have always wanted Arod- and Arod has always been a Mets fan..
I like what management did...shows class by talking to your franchise player about this.

I dont like him as a person, but he could do alot for a team......I would get him after we handle our pitching situation.

The Mets could always sit him down during the playoffs
LOL now that your team is in the running for A-rod, your attitude totally changes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
