A-rod can take care of your pitching. Reyes in exchange for A-rod and Santana? You'd be crazy not to do that. I bet Minnesota will want more then Reyes for Santana. Reyes is a Minnesota type player.

According to audiolife, you can get Santana for bench players, so if you trade Reyes, you can get Santana and Mauer. You'd fill your catcher position as well.

You don't understand. Minnesota wants top level prospects. So for the sake of argument we'll say Cleveland sends 3 top prospects to Minnesota. Minnesota send Santana to Boston. So you are telling me Boston will trade bench players to Cleveland? You really think Cleveland is going to trade top prospects for bench players?

Also about Detroit, I was right when I said Renteria could be a Tiger, and I've shown you proof that the Tigers are contenders for A-rod.
