you forgot Santana
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Lets wait till that happens //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Besides, Detroit has hit Santana pretty well lately

lol...Verlander better than Beckett?
oh boy

Bonderman > Schilling?

uhm k

BTW...Boston bullpen > joo
I said they don't have a clear advantage. Verlander is better then you seem to want to give him credit for. He is only going to get better this season. Bonderman was an all-star the first half and tried to pitch through an injury the second half. The first half he had a 3.50 ERA and an unbelievable whip. Schilling is on the down side of his career. Boston's bullpen is better then Detroit's. However, I don't think Dombrowski is down yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

This makes no sense at all. Did bigfagtheory hack your account?
has this detroit team won a world series? has this detroit team done this in the playoffs? do the tigers have the best hitters in playoff history? can sheff play a whole season without his arm falling off? has boston choked against the cards?

you cant see ortiz, manny and lowell doing this? i can and if it is not back to back to back i can see for sure a couple back to back homers lol....

Since Verlander didn't give up back-to-back-to-back homers in the playoffs, I don't understand the point you were trying to make //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif This team was just in the World Series, and have players who have won titles.

At his blog for Newsday, David Lennon relays a conversation he had with an American League scout that saw a lot of RHP Philip Humber:

[The scout] was not impressed. In fact, when his team suggested making a deal for Humber, as part of a package for one of their regular starters, this scout helped shoot it down. While Humber’s curve ball is definitely a plus, he’s not viewed as a top quality prospect by other clubs.

As should be obvious, the scout Lennon that this lack of regard for Humber, once a College World Series hero and the third pick in the 2004 amateur draft, is hampering the Mets’ efforts to get a pitcher like Oakland RHP Dan Haren or Baltimore LHP Erik Bedard.

uhm...offer them Pelfrey?

What the hell does losing to St. Louis have to do with the 08 Tigers? So you are saying if they would've won, the players would be better? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Even without Sheffield, the Tigers still had the 2nd best offense in the AL and now have Cabrera. Did you not watch Bonderman in 06? That masterpiece he threw against the Yankees? He pitched great against Oakland, and against St. Louis? His post season numbers aren't bad: 2-1 3 3 3.10 1 0 0 0 20.1 17 7 7 11
