OK, I mentioned that Judd Apatow was nowhere in sight on this one, but surely we can feel his influence here. Director Todd Phillips seems to have had Apatow films like "The 40 Year Old Virgin" and "Knocked Up" in mind when he decided to update his "Road Trip" for a more-mature audience. "The Hangover" is not a particularly awful movie, just a bland, juvenile, and rather predictable one, with characters straight from "Road Trip" but ten or fifteen years older and just as dense, one-dimensional, and stereotyped. Well, look at the bright side: At least Tom Green's not in it

I love stupid comedies like Super Troopers, Ricky Bobby, etc...this movie just sucked. I actually stopped watching it because I determined that it wasn't worth losing any more sleep after I had watched the first half of it.

Notice that people who liked the movie are naming the same supporting movies.... and people who didn't like it are mentioning a whole different set of movies?

I thought it was in the middle. Enjoyable, may watch it again in due time.

Movies I can watch endlessly.... 40 YOV, Super Troopers, Ace Ventura Pet Detective, Trading Places (EPIC CLASSIC), Talladega Nights....

i thought it was funny. it's not the greatest comedy of the decade, but it's still funny enough to watch again....and y'all are taking the arguments a little too seriously. i doubt anyone actually thinks you're stupid for liking or disliking this movie.
