Sad to see what little understanding most of the members have on this very important subject. If you want real knowledge you have do your own thinking and studying. All the better knowledge about the future and history is not in the mainstream libraries. It's found deep in your own research. Only you can paint the picture of it.
2012 is an important date and that is all I will say. I have read over 300 books on this subject alone.

good then. the scientists are actually taking this stuff seriously because the mayan calendar is not just a joke. it is a highly accurate source as to what happened astronomically and has proven itself correct before, now it's your choice to believe that it will be just another day, but ask yourself why the calendar was made. Was it just to pass time, or was it real proof that the world goes through cycles based on their documentation?

x2. the calendar speaks for itself. To understand this subject all you have to do is understand the calendar by looking at a few vids or reading a few paragraphs. I listed some links in this thread already.

The information is pretty potent. The deeper books on the subject would blow your mind. You are not going to understand this subject by only reading a few pages. To truly understand the great mystery takes a lot of time, effort, and study. Something most people are not willing to do.

If you really want to learn about 2012, you need to read. This is a very important topic and definitely worth digging into... and while you are at it, actually study the Mayans and their way of life. Their economics, their civilization, their culture, their beliefs, their break throughs. Go a head and check it out!

Find out how much smarter these people were than you, I, and every other American. We all think we are so smart with science, math, and other academic thought. The mayans were smart as hell, by far the smartest people known to man, if they can calculate the lunar moon to it's exact distance from earth, why would they be wrong about the end of the world? You have to understand how smart the mayans were to believe in this topic at all, and they were geniuses.
