the world won't end tomorrow, but i'm sure everyone in there right mind will care the day before the world is supposed to end. Why would you not get even a little worried especially if the scientist begin to warn us that it is looking more and more likely over the next couple years. I would be pretty scared, but that's just me.

basically the mayans had an end date for the world on 2012 due to the sunspot cycle theory, and we are in a sunspot cycle now believe it or not and what makes you believe it couldn't happen again? Scientists say it happened many times before so to me the possibility is very real.

I will say this again, just go look up how smart the mayans were at figuring stuff out in there day, they were very smart people.

they say that the sunspots can eject mass ejections and can interfere with the terrestrial plasma environment, causing magnetic sub-storms, auroral activity, and influence everything from telecommunications to the electrical power grid. They can affect the Earth's weather and maybe even global warming cycles.......... kinda hard to explain but it could be a huge mess if it happens

Does this mean it could fry my amps, I would be really pissed!!

Well, it has been proven that there have been visible sunspots on the suns surface over the past several years. This is said to prove that the sun is going to pull itself towards the earth from gravitational pull and cause massive earthquakes and storms and many say if it doesn't end the world it will kill alot of people leaving only the prepared left to survive.

Otherwise will continue to be another useless thread of idiots and teenagers speculating.

my point exactly, the mayans were like never wrong. How the hell they were so smart, we don't know. But i encourage everyone to look them up and see what they are all about, cuz the stuff the predicted wasn't bullshit. Which is why i do have a small fear of this day.
