the fi q or the idmax

i personally would choose the sound of the idmax over the q. and i'd surely pass on an rsd.
Coming from someone that doesnt even know how to set his gains, I dont think you have much credibility //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif

Coming from someone that doesnt even know how to set his gains properly, I dont think anyone will take you seriously:*******:
But, I thought that Rsd can take more power than maX and more????//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif

And I still stand by my comment... The 12s can take quite the abuse... Never called it better than the max, just said it can handle more power..

You just contra dic.ked yourself and I don't think James ever blew a max?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif

Why not consider a SI Mag? It comes in a 15 and is on the same level as the one mentioned, but what I really want to know is Towncars opinion on Q v/s RSD. Also, do the RSD 10"ers have different motors than the 12" version.

From his thread, he mentioned that the sub had a rattling noise when he recieved the woofer. Just because a sub has a rattling noise, does not mean it was blown. Apparenty the rattling came from the dustcap as described.

1/2 power handling, and near isn't the same //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Still for a budget sub RSD is very nice.
I think Max> Q's but like they said, if ur going 15" no chocice
You can send the RSD 1500rms and it'll play fine. Go to the PG forum and read up on it.

No not from the dust cap because he took it off cafefully and played it again but, still made a rattle noise.
owned.... towncar learn to read please. or stfu cause you're an idiot.

from my experience and opinion: iDmax > Fi Q > rsd > towncar

All of you guys bashing the RSD, have you heard them in a proper install at all? I would think Towncar has more experience than the both of you with different woofers and installs.

I may be mistaken but is this criticism coming from your butt hurt selves that a 100 dollar woofer can somewhat compare to a $400 one? Ive heard and Idmax and Rsd by now in both equally quality installs and i would have to say the max just a tad better, or perhaps it was just me playing tricks on my mind, refusing to believe a woofer 1/4 price of another can compare.
