At some point, the law of diminishing returns kicks in. Will a $500 sub be 'twice' as good as a $250 sub? Twice as loud, sound twice as good, etc etc? No, it will not. That's why I have to laugh sometimes when I see so many people bicker over such small issues (the minute differences in SQ between 2 BL optimized subs for example).
IMO last year when that PG sub was so cheap (uhm... Ti elite?) that was a helluva deal (around $100 ea). The Oz Matrix Elite is another sub with similar specs/performance/design to the IDMax, yet isn't quite at its level, nor price. *shrug* This happens when you start breaking down the cost for virtually every 'supersub' on the market. Get use to it guys, when we need to buy the 'best', we are not getting the best bang for our bucks.
If I were poor, Id buy the RSD's (probably). If I weren't poor, but couldn't afford Max's, Id buy Matrix Elites (probably). If I had the money, Id shell out for Maxs (probably). Im considering selling my 2 XXX's and replacing them with 4 IDMax's. Cost effective? Hell no! LMAO! But highly satisfying none the less? Hell yes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
