haha... nothing personal but I'm guessing you are a christian, which would require your ability to beleive in the unknown/unseen....
but I suppose you could hold science to a different standard since they claim not to believe in the unknown... which of course is often forgot in the scientific world when they quit asking questions about long upheld models of how things work...

and yes im christian. but i am also ruled by logic. so i wont say that macro evolution doesnt make sense, im just saying i've yet to read anything on the subject that states anything other than a theory.

Anything that uses Piltdown Man as proof for or against ANYTHING, is rather hard to believe. Fact checking, anyone?

Piltdown Man was a DELIBERATE HOAX... here's a link to it. Using it to "disprove" evolution, is the most egregious form of straw-man argument.

Also, once you accept the existance of mutation, micro-evolution AND survival of the fittest, you INHERENTLY have the basis of macro-evolution, by definition. Can't have the former concepts be factual, without the letter inherently being factual . It's a direct, irrevocable logical concept...

It's obvious that nobody know when the Earth was made.......none of us were here then....I know I wasn't......

Nobody knows how old the universe is

How big the universe is

How old things we're digging up and finding are....(since they keep changing the dating methods and hence the age)

Until somebody or something comes along and tells us

My preferance is to believe that that being is going to be the return of God and the rapture.........at which point i'll know the earth is about 5000 years old

No, things became fossilized during the Great Flood.....

With all the soot and dirt floating around it settled on top of everything and the pressure fossilized it......
