Featured The Equinox that Rocks?

I pulled my USB drive out to do something, don't remember what. I noticed something below the usb slot. My usb input for my radio is IN my armrest which is cavernous. I can barely see the USB slot from the drivers seat. Anyway, what I noticed was small and dark. Turns out it is an AUX port directly below my USB port. SO!!!! I grabbed my FiiO M11S and plugged it into the AUX port. I now have access to my entire music library!!! I am so happy!!! Not sure how I missed that AUX port or if I just forgot about it or what but it works flawlessly. It's louder than the CD, USB and Radio. For some reason the AUX input goes to volume 45 while the other 3 go to 40. Whatever, it works well!!!

Got my terminals for the XS Power D4700. These came with more than I thought they would come with. Looks and feels of quality. I am curious though because XS says to charge the AGM battery fully before installing into the car. Is this true of ALL AGM batteries???? I have a NOCO genius 5 charger... I should be ok. I have never charged an AGM before hand. I just installed them thought they did come from the likes of AutoZone and such.

Got her charging up. Crutchfield said this is a "blem" unit, which I am ok with as the entire battery is concealed in the Equinox. However it has the top post terminals on it and it is mostly charged. After I swap out these XS Power top post to MY top post and check the voltage tomorrow, she is going in the Equinox.

Had to button up a few things on the ride. The drain came loose on one side of the sunroof and left a puddle in the floorboard. I fixed it. I also leveled the rear wiper arm and ordered the OEM cover for it. I got the 300a circuit breaker finally and fit the 1/0 copper terminals... they fit perfect. This is a marine trolling motor breaker. Should be good under the hood.

I went ALL through my storage unit through all the boxes and can't find my butane torch. No clue what happened to it. So I ordered another one, same brand but this one has two flames that can be reduced to one flame. I bought some 63/37 solder balls and plan to do the solder in the copper lugs with heat shrink to make them purdy looking.

My A/C drain has been clogged and dumping water into the floorboards for a while. I put it on my ramps and went for the drain on the lower, center firewall. The tube is curved almost 90° to the passenger side. It's kinda tight under there and the swaybar is kind of in the way. I put some fingers on the tube and it rotated. As soon as the tube curved south it started draining a lot. Completely soaked my shoulder and back and the cardboard I was laying on. If I knew all I had to do was rotate it I would have done that days ago from the top side... with a stick. SMH.

Just replaced a 6" section of sunroof drain hose. It had butyl rubber on it for some reason. I thought it was for some shoddy repair. I examined the section I cut out from the inside but saw no cracks or holes. Hmmm. I drove around with the A/C on for a bit. No more dripping in the floorboards from that at least.

I am so aggravated. I have no clue where all my heat shrink is. Anyway, this is the power supply side of the 1/0awg OFC cable that will run from the circuit breaker to the JP630 Ultra Cap Bank. 300a breaker at the beginning and a 300a fuse just before the cap bank. From the cap bank to the SMD fused distribution block to a 300a fuse to the amp. I was under the Equinox today so I looked for a good place to hang the cable and there are PLENTY of perfect options.

I am still waiting for my GP audio orange heat shrink to get here so I can finish my cables. In the mean time I sold my BNIB D4S JP13 to my sister. She is going to be running it on a pair of 10's that I am sure she will blow quickly like she did my RF Punch 12 some time back.
