I have that plate amp, very good amp by the way, makes my ED flatcone wang hard in a small sealed box.

Really wanna open it up, put it in 2.0 ported at 20 hz, but the cops have already paid me a visit here, don't need any more complaints.

My neighbors were complainers.... But when they realized how loud 703's and a 90 degree out of phase lobe sounds in their apartment with some Bolt Thrower on, they stopped calling.....

Fs becomes less relevant when dealing with large enclosures or running IB. Its the port tuning that's important in this case.

The MJ-18 is a great driver and can give you decent output. My recommendations for 250 litre 18Hz tune suits the MJ, but will also fit for other 18's should you decide to change out for somethnig more expensive (I say expensive because everything has diminishing returns).

I'd suggest going with a Sonotube - 20" in diameter and about 52" high. 6" port tuned to 18Hz. Its quick and easy to build, plus lightweight so you won't need casters. Get yourself an EQ if you don't already have one.

I'd really like to do an IB instillation of a MJ-18 in my attic, firing into the living room. It should get pretty loud in my little house.
