The end all of HT Subwoofers

Well I'm going to be completely building a HT setup over the next year, and I've got an idea for a sub.

Mach 5 audio MJ-18" in 8^3 tuned to 18hz being powered by this plate amp:

Of course this beast would be built with a handle or two with casters so I can move it around.

I was just going by the specs that M5A supplies for the woofer, but anythings possible. lower 20hz would probably be better for movies. Rattle yo nuts n stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Also, polyfill? It seems everything in HT has polyfill in it. I will def. use it in the surround/center speakers to keep cancellation down, but is it necessary in the woofer box?

30hz for a HT sub? That would be shit for anything but music. I would only tune to 20 or 18. You haven't experienced HT unless you've felt a sub that has in room extension down to 15hz with authority.
