Can't have everything perfect. IMO the sacrifice is going to be heavily outweighed by the gains. In this case sub bass frequencies that will rattle my NEIGHBORS nuts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif :veryhapp:

Thats why its going to be built with wheels. Not to mention I've moved many filing cabinets as we have 4 in our house. I also used to work installing cubicals, offices, and office furniture. Weight isn't an issue. Knowing how to correctly handle it is the key, which is really easy.

Thanks. I really didn't expect people to think it was, nor was I ever thinking that myself. It was a title that would get people to read it, give answers and suggestions. I clearly got answers and suggestions, and I'm closer to getting a very nice sub setup. I would rather build my own and have it kick ***, that way I'd be a lot more proud of my system than running to the store and buying some pre-made sub.

Considering I will be building this for less money than some subwoofers alone cost, that is also a huge plus.

Gotta love know-it-all mods and their contributions.

I did an aura 1808 for a ht sub once... polyfill in the box was no match, ripped it up and threw it out the vent in a wicked display of power.. within 10 seconds I think the box was pretty much empty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Box was 6qf with about a 24x6x whatever it was slot port. Man that sub could move some air! Had around 1200 clean going to it. Needless to say, my lil 12" JBL 250P model northridge rocks my current setup with more than enough power, depth and clarity for the 18x18 room it is in. Sub is very impressive for the size and price. Just watched Blade 2 last night. Tore it up killer!!! shakes every picture in the house and most of my tools in the garage without breaking a sweat.
