The box

Ok, so I'm very new to the car audio stuff and am putting 2 subs in my trunk. I went ahead and bought a pre-made box. One thing I can't exactly figure out, which I'm probably over thinking this but how to connect the speaker wires that will come from the box to the amp. On the inside its got a positive and negative post. But on the outside of the box.

It has like 2 little sliding, spring loaded posts with holes in both. Do i just push the top of the post down and stick the wire through the hole and then let off of it?

Sorry if this doesn't really make sense but like I said I'm to the car audio stuff and don't really know all the lingo and it wouldn't let me put the pictures I took of it all on here.

They're spring terminals. You push it down til you see the hole, stick the wire in the hole and let it pop back up. Thus holding your wire in place. One should have a red circle on top for pos. and one should have a black circle on top for neg. That was the long answer. Short answer to your question is yes.
