The BEST choice 18 inch subwoofer for my SUNDOWN saz 2500d

Hows it goin guys im interested in hearing your suggestions and personal experiances with a good 18 inch sub woofer in both the spl an sq department!

Space is not an issue as i have a Van an plan on getting a custom HUGE box built..

as far as powering the sub i will be using my SUNDOWN saz 2500d

any suggestions links an or websites were i can buy my sub would be appreciated my price range for the single subwoofer is around 4-600 dollars!

Dont expect much from the yellow top. I had 3 on a 200 amp alt running a ZX2500. Voltage ****** in comparison to now

Yeah it's good that you have an upgraded alternator but you don't have much in terms of reserve capacity...

yellow tops are primarily used for typical electrical right? and the red tops are better for stereo. correct me if im wrong

i believe for car audio they say yellow tops are better..

but the red tops contain more cold cranking amps an higher running amps i believe

..

BUBBA what would u suggest to help out with that issue i want to be able to push my sub HARD an allow it enough energy as far as electrical!

For 2500w+ you would probably want the XL instead (or a level 4 with level 5 softparts). Fully loaded Fi BL would work as well, maybe even a BTL (probably the older triple stack/UFO model)

I would look into having at least 2 (3 would be better) good batteries. I have a yellowtop up front but then I have a huge Sprinter batt in the back (equivalent of like two normal sized batts).

battery usage is going to depend on the system.. if your alternator is good for 80% of the load your better off with a high rate of discharge battery like kenitik..

if your going to constantly be depending on the battery to help share the load the deep cycle will bet better because your able to recharge it 10X more after its discharged unlike the kenitik...

they have a few excellent woofers on hte market that would do great..

i appreciate all the help guys..i ****** love bass but up till now ive always been a cheap system builder will like multiple subs an cheaper amps..but im trying to build a solid system with this amp an great subwoofer..

i was looking into this battery they use on the ups trucks cuz there built to have alot of amps an turning on an off alot..

idk if anyone has any experience with them..

ALSO alot of u guys have good suggestions on the subwoofers but as far as the price range goes i should jsut spend what i have too huh? even if i have to pay 6 or 7!

an build a great box an have it tuned to specs??

also i heard too many battery's puts a big load on the electrical system of the car..

i also have the big three upgrade idk if anyone can prove that helps at all lol

You can easily get a solid sub for under $500 or even $400 if you buy used.
