Wiring 2 IDQ D4 to 1ohm with sealed box(separate enclosures)

So according to this diagram, this is how I would wire it:

But now the problem is when I bought the box, it came as 2 separate sealed enclosures, ie it's 1 box but closed off in the middle. Can I just drill a hole and put the wires through and then seal the hole with silicon?

Yes. If each chamber does not already have a set place for wire to come out then just drill one hole between chambers and another from the one chamber out to the amp. If each chamber already has cups or holes drilled for wire then just combine the wire into one run outside the box.

Also if your amp is mono but has two inputs you can just run each sub straight to the amp. The amp will internally bridge it down to1 ohm
