The Best CDT Tweets?

haha i have the TW25 and i love those. I finally hooked my comps in the sig up in a fully deadened door and man i really love them. If i had as good as a HU as my cousin i think they would sound just as good as the 6.5" slc's my cousin has in his deadened lightning. Midbass and highs are great for $150. I am only running 50rms to them and really enjoy the overall sound. I am way more interested in SQ than SPL.

I've used them. The newer ES-010 (round instead of squarish) is higher up, and the ES-02 in a sealed pod (CDT ships them with these) is my personal favorite. Take it from someone who's used just about everything they've got. Let me know if you have any questions that I can help you out with.

I'll throw in my $.02 here,

I have used, installed and critically listened to most of the CDT product line. IN CARS!

The ES 02 is a MID Tweeter, it can be used in a 2 way system but it does have some roll off in the very top end. It could be easily corrected with some eq'ing. I would personally use it, but if you like a really crisp sound consider combining it with a super tweeter or in a 3 way system.

The ES 01 is considered to be there "audiophile" tweeter. It has a very flat response. Some people like it, some don't. It really depends on your listening tastes.

DRT-26 is the tweeter that, in my experience most people perfer in listening tests. It has a small frequency response bump in its output that many find appealing, including myself.

Hope that helps.

I have the HD52's ...... I threw the tweets away. The mids are ok but are designed for IB door mounting not in kicks like I have them. I will be changing things up when I get the time ... have to finish the other cars first.

they are designed for IB mounting in the doors, they need a large volume. You can open the top of the kickpod up a little, let them vent into the lower dash. They will also vent into the carpet around the edges if you get the premade ones with no backing.

I think these are the actual raw speakers

or maybe these

yea i am getting the premade q logics kicks

but i am mainly using the cdt cl-62cf comps for my midrange no midbass since i have the momo mid for my midbass in the doors

i am gonna cross the momos at 80hz and the cdt around 150-200 or so so i get just more vocals from them than midbass

how would that work
