THE best Audio Processor?

If you have to ask, you probably dont understand their functions anyway. If you did understand them, you'd just look up the specs and decide for yourself which is 'the best'.
Forget the h900, its a pita to set anyway. A noob would be totally lost.
i sat in a rich a-hole's car w/ two f1 processors...

okay he wasn't an a-hole, but he sure must be rich to run 2 f1 processors and f1 status source units.

lol wut, he had 2 f1's and was still using passive's? What was the multiple f1's for a crap ton of time alignment and some eq?

edit: Just fully compreheneded the enormity of the post 15 speakers lol......

When they were available there were several Alpine headunits that lacked the full EQ ability of the Audiocontrol unit (but still have a very good EQ that was very flexible) but absolutely blew it away in the crossover arena with a fully digital 3-way crossover with time alignment. Unfortunately Alpine discontinued all the HUs with that processor chip in them. I would still be running mine from 2003 except that it had a mishap that burned out the preouts. Some of them were quite affordable. The CDA-9887 is the closest thing they have to the older units still in production but it lacks the ability to bandpass one of the output pairs.
