the !@#$% amp shutt off

My gain is set at 0.2 volts, i have a old pioneer deh-3150 head unit, i dont know if that is the problem that the amp gets too hot, i dont know exactly whats the pre out volt of the head unit, maybe thats the problem? i will buy in 1 month the pioneer deh-p850MP, will still the problem with that head unit? plz help me guys.
