HELP! chime sounds when changing volume/tuner?

An Eclipse tuner/CD was driving a fairly highend system with two amps and a sub. So I'm selling the car and remove the subs and amps. I wire the HU directly to the coax speakers in the front doors. Everything works and sounds great but now I hear a very audible "beeping" sound whenever I change the volume or tune other stations. The only thing that I changed was disconnected the preouts and wired the front speakers directly to the HU speaker outs. I'm even using the same speaker wiring to the front doors.

Can anyone help me get rid of these beep sounds?

Thanks!

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...
