IIRC there was an original one that was inspired by real events, then there was the comic that was based off the original movie, then there's this movie based off the comics...

Looks like a 2 thumbs way up type of movie. I hope I dont get dissappointed when I go considering it will be mass Chaos!

dude where my car had no plot (other than finding the dudes car) but it was great!

same with the white castle movie........................no real plots FTMFW!!!!!

but dont worry i like other deep movies like V for vendetta

Awesome movie, can't really compare it to Sin City but I'd say that it was at least 2x better than Sin City. The battle scenes were amazing and the ******* in the *** scene were cool. I also liked the creativeness of the character's features... its off a site my brother has told me about, there reviews seem to be right on the moeny every single time.
They said it was extremly well acted, visually stunning, and some other stuff cant remeber, but i trust this review more than any other one. Come on there hasnt been a good old war movie in a long time

Rottentomatoes currently has rated The 300 @ 61% whereas IMDB is @ 8.6/10 right now, I believe. Big difference when you compare critics' ratings with viewing audience ratings.

I wouldn't use Dude Where's My Car as a good example, but there have been quite a few films that have had mixed reviews when you categorize critics from your average moviegoer. But the trailer has me really interested so screw what everyone else says, I'm still watching it!

Saw it midnight last night. Baddest ****ing movie I have seen in a very long time.

Reminds me a lot of Gladiator, which is one of my favorite movies ever... and I think 300 was about as good.

the talking in this movie was followed always directly by *** pretty much, or extra cool killing, they made to not bore you things like story lines without violance towards children (oh yea kids get ****ed up pretty bad), or without making sure you get *** right after. i found gladiator not worth the wait times, it was a good movie but too much talking, this has minimal talking beacause who wants to talk!
