how much spl can be expected from 2 12" eD kv subs?they have 16mm of Xmax which is pretty impressive.

edit: i mean 15mm of Xmax.

Xmax has no correlation with SPL.

oh im sorry, i didnt know.

i thought it was simply cone area and xmax for sealed aplications, and a lot more factors for ported applications

That was an issue primarily with the 15" flat cone As. NO ED driver currently suffers from that problem.
You aren't aware of as much truth as you'd like to pretend you are...

i was talking about the 15 A flatcone, that is what geoffry had. and i never said the newer drivers had the same problem. i wouldn't expect a company to repeat the same mistake.

i am very happy with my replacement driver... and whether the

timing was fortunate for me or whatever, eD was extremely

helpful and got my issue resolved...

today is today... stop pretending its 3 years ago... eD is a good

shop and "sell" good equipment...

anyways... ive only been sending my 16Ov.2 400 watts to break

it in and i must say whether its efficiency or something else... the

sub pounds... if it could take the 1000 watts the 15A could take

the output would be obsene... i figure that once i do send it the

extra couple hundred watts it can take it will decimate the 15A...

and sound better doing it... all and all i would say so far that this

is the best driver i have had the pleasure of owning...

rebadged would mean something eD takes and puts their name on. they use a buildhouse and a unique design for their subs, the amps are the same way. there is currently no other company using these designs, the only way to purchase them is through eD.

the A series drivers were a little different. the put their own cone on a TC9, sorta how SS does with the TC9.
