No, just showing that such things do happen, and if you are one dood fending off 3 or 4 people with "assault weapons" it might be nice to have one yourself.
Its my feeling that I shouldn't be punished for the crimes of the bad guy, banning assault weapons will just keep them out of the hands of law abiding citizens, bad guys will still have them because they didn't really care about breaking laws in the first place.

Entertainment, sure. Audio entertains us, as do gaming, and computers, and all the like. But these are all generally harmless non-violent forms of entertainment. If you can't agree that guns are just brutish, then you might have to take another look at yourself.

Technically, an assualt rifle is full auto. But the the guns that would be covered under an "assault weapon" ban aren't full auto. The people that want those bans just use the term assault weapon to scare people.
