I have an old Alpine Type R, one of the SVC ones. It is 4 ohm. When hooked up to my mm (Electro-Tek from Wal-Mart), I only got a 1 ohm reading. I hooked it up to an older kenwood 4 ohm SVC, still got a 1 ohm reading. I hooked both of those at the speaker. Just to see, I hooked it up to the box terminals on my JBLs (4 ohm DVC) that are almost new. It is hooked up according to option 2 on this site:

http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qty=2&woofer_imp=4

I only got a 2 ohm reading there. The type r doesnt sound blown. Do those number sound right, or are they all off (mm not working maybe)? Thanks.
