Test my enclosure making abilities.

15" FI Q

32W x 14 H x 26D

tuned to 32Hz

2.8 - 4 cubes (as much as you can get...)

Just whatever you can get that's best.

oh and sub up and port back (kinda obvious......)

I'll be using the XX-Zeus

i need it for 2 12 FI BL bandpass box..max dimmensions are 37 wide x 15 high x 20 deep can be expanded to 24 if needed.. i want a flat response from 28 hz to 80 hz with minimal peaks. Sub Displacement: 0.15cuft port size 60 sq inches but can go to 120 but rather not due to lack of power

Make the circle, use the push/pull tool to push it in, the thickness of your wood. 3/4", 1 1/2", whatever.
I know how to make a circle. It worked fine on the side. It's just when i make it on the top, it makes all the colors look really weird. I dont know if yall know what im talking about exactly.

Let me start over, since I realize all these free enclosure calculators are WAY off.

I will be running a 15" Fi Q on a 1200wrms in my trunk car, with sub facing UP and Port Backwards. I want 4.0 cubic feet after port and sub disp, tuned to 32hz w/ 65sq" of port.

I want the box to be 30" long and 14" high, my max width is 30" though.

Here is what I came up with so far, but I cannot figure out the second port length for the correct tuning.

External Dims: 24"w x 30"d x 14"h

Internal Dims (using .75" wood) : 22.5w x 28.5d x 12.5h

Internal Volume includ. port disp = 4.638

Port 1 = 5.25" w x 12.5" h x 24" d

Port 1 disp = 0.9 cu ft

Port 2 = 5.25" w x 12.5" x ?

And that is where I got stuck.

I need the depth and height to be the same, but the width can be changed around.

If you could help, that would be awesome!

Thanks man!

And no, obviously you can't find the port length using sketchup. But once you find the port length 99% of the rest of it sketchup can handle. Cut out sheet, actual port length on the 3d model, area of the box etc..

Actually the box i made you should work out perfect, it's less than 30inches wide, and has your requested tuning/port area.

It's actually 3.81cf net after port and sub displacement. I forgot to add in the sub displacement to the box. As you can see here, the internal volume minus the port is exactly 4.01cf.
