Temperature affecting speakers?

Does anyone know if fluctuation in temperature affects speakers? I'm not talking major changes, but, from say, day to night? Like its about 75-80* degrees here in the day and it gets like i dunno, say 40* at night. Sometimes it gets to like low forties at night and since it's like usually really hot here during the day i was wondering if that maybe would screw with my speakers for a while. It seems that on nights where it gets really cold, like 40, my speakers sound all shitty in the morning and crap, lol. I know that for you guys up north it's like -20 and shit, how does THAT affect y'all speakers? LOL, the coldest it EVER gets here is like mid 30's during the day, and VERRRRY seldom, maybe three times a year. anywayz, j.w

If it's colder outside, let your speakers "warm up". Play everything at less than half the volume than you normally do for like the first 15 minutes in the morning. I don't think it is as big of a problem where you live since the lowest it gets is 30, but if they are sounding bad, you should probably do what I said anyway. It won't hurt them instantly, it's like smoking cigarettes, it kills you over time.
