Whats Jl stands for??
I test my 500 w rms TMA amp with a test tone and a true rms dmm i test tones form 20 hz to 50 hz 500 w requires 31 volts so i raise the volume till the voltage says 32 volts and the sub still sounds clear as a bell i even take it out the trunk and still no distortion wat so ever but as i raise the volume 1 more notch it distort faintly now the voltage is 34 volts.Question is i know its not a accurate way to test if rated power is comming out the amp but does this give me a general idea if its in the area of giving 500 watts?
