Te4001d Wiring Questions

On the wiring diagram for the 4001d, it shows two 2ohm dvc speakers being wired seperately into the amp. Would'nt this be a .5ohm load? Or am i missing something?

not if you wire them series-parallel. then you get a 2ohm load. parallel-parallel results in a 1/2 ohm load
