AQ not putting out...

I just put my AQ1200 in my truck today, got it all wired up turned it on and the bass from it was very low. I played with the settings on my amp and the only way i get an ok amount of bass from it is when i have the gain and the bass boost all the way up, and it still sounds very lacking. I have it wired @ 4 ohms so i know im not getting the full out of my amp but i just wanted to hear what it sounded like. Sadly my 400 watt kicker off 1 12" sounded alot louder than this does. Is there something i did wrong or does this amp need to be @ 1 ohm to shine?

im not judging the amp, i was just wondering if i did somthing wrong. The subs are broken in and i just had a 1800watt visonik amp (crappy walmart brand) hooked up to them and was listening to it right before i switched them out.

are you using the two SEs in your sig? are they dual 4 or dual 2? I have a very close setup and it slams at 1 ohm...
yup its the 2 in my sig, there dual 4 so i could drop them to 1 ohm , just didnt yet. Thats why i was wondering if the amp shines @ 1 ohm. But i would have thought even @ 4 ohm it would put more than it is out.

The SEs really need the power to get moving, I would check to see if your RCA's are all in the right spot, then wire them up to 1 Ohm and then check back.

why not wire them to 1 ohm?
Its really cold out right now :p + where i live i have to work on my stuff very quickly so i just hooked them up the way i had it running off my last amp for now just to get it in there. The manager here hates if you work on your car at my apartments , even if its just the inside.

One other thing i thought, since the amp has 2 sets of + and - does it matter what set i use?
Naw, they are their to make it easier to wire up mutiple subwoofers. The outputs parallel inside the amp, its only one set of + and - you have ava from the amp.

No, you can run one wire to both subs in parallel or you can run a wire to each sub and have each wire go to a set of + and -.... That's all its there for, flexibility.
